CULTURE

A small country in the heart of the Mediterranean world that since the depths of prehistory has given rise to great civilisations that sparked global cultural and political institutions, the sciences, philosophy, the arts, ethics, and aesthetics. The land that gave birth to Homer and The Odyssey as humans’ endless journey in place and time and, especially, in the heart of their existence.

Greece cannot move forth without this great heritage, it cannot but build on such solid foundations, the only ones that guarantee its present and its future in every sector of daily life and its position in world affairs. The country’s productive forces must promote and transmit these values of Greece’s intangible and tangible culture to future generations. All is Greek, stated Cicero, while Goethe later noted that Greece is to the world what mind and heart are to man
